Welcome to Callaway Cattle Company. We are located
in west central Georgia, just 45 miles south of the Atlanta airport. We live in the Corinth community four miles north west of Hogansville where GA Highway 100 splits our farm.

Today we run a seedstock operation on the same farm that has been in our family for over a century. While cattle have been a part of our way of life for most of those years, we purchased our first registered Angus cows in 1973. We’ve seen many changes over the years but today our herd is still built around the Angus cow. Through the years we have added Simmental genetics and the majority of our cow herd today are registered SimAngus. However, we still run some straight-bred Angus and probably always will.

We sell commercial bulls in two bull sales each year as well as some privately off the farm. We also sell replacement females both privately and as consignments to special sales. Also Wes, our son, breeds and sells a few show steers and heifers for junior projects.

At Callaway Cattle Company we strive to produce highly fertile, structurally sound, functional cattle with performance, longevity, eye appeal and balanced EPD’s.
Our visual selection criteria includes: 1) correct feet and legs, 2) ample muscling,
3) plenty of depth, 4) easy fleshing ability, 5) sound udders and 6) a moderate frame size.
